Now there’s a headline!! and there’s not much more to it really. Cantina Carnitas, Kinetic Hitchin’s pop-up maestros of all things Mexican, have been asked by Capcom (yes, that Capcom, of Street Fighter arcade machine fame) to create a 6ft, Resident Evil inspired burrito. Said Burrito is to be rolled in the Carnita’s winter home; The Handle Bar Coffee bar inside Kinetic Hitchin. So, if you’re about Friday and want to sample some T-Virus hot sauce then get involved. The whole thing is also to be recorded by a film crew for posterity. Friday no good for you? then pop down to Kinetic Hitchin between 11:30 and 15:00 saturday for the Carnita’s usual awesome Mexican fare plus a secret special for this week only. Adios Amigos!
It’ll come to no surprise to you that have bought or borrowed (or seen or touched!) a Storck at Kinetic, but the prestigious German marque has just picked up ‘Bike of the year’ for the hugely popular Visioner C. Road.cc pitted the keenly-priced Visioner against some pretty tough competition and “The Visioner proves itself out on the road as a worthy contender against its siblings and more importantly against its competition. – See more at: http://road.cc/content/review/147431-storck-visioner-c-road-bike#sthash.88gvZF8V.dpuf“
27.5+ bikes are a pretty new niche, but gaining some real traction (pun very much intended). The combination of larger wheels and wider tyres offer a fun, fast and super grippy ride. Struggling in mud and loose conditions? a ‘plus’ bike will leave your mates in your wake. Genesis’ Tarn 20 was reviewed by What Mountain Bike and, well, a glowing write up. Available as a frames or one of two complete bike options and in-store now.

‘Over the last decade, Parlee has pioneered a host of industry firsts: the first customizable carbon fiber racing frames; Flex Fit semi-custom geometry; and the first sub-800 gram carbon fiber frame are just a few.’
Kinetic Cycles, as Hertfordshire’s premier cycle shop, re-affirm’s our commitment to offering the finest cycling brands by adding the exceptional frame building and painting skills of Parlee cycles to our brand portfolio.
‘While other manufactures continuously re-invent themselves not out of necessity, but as sales ploy, Parlee does not make change for change’s sake. If you want a giant down tube, a box-shaped bottom bracket, or swoopy chainstays, look elsewhere. Parlee doesn’t traffic in superfluous stylings, for they do nothing for ride quality, and only add unnecessary bulk and weight.
Instead Parlee focuses attention where attention matters: carbon fiber lay-up schedules and torsional tube design. By utilizing the correct shapes and tube densities, Parlee is able to reach cycling’s Holy Grail: the delicate balance between torsional stiffness and vertical compliance.’
